VILLALVAZO CLERICAL SERVICES
Villalvazo Clerical Services is a business that offers taxes to everyone. Since doing taxes can often be a stressful time for people, I tried to incorporate certain things within the visual design which would be appealing to the common crowd. In choosing a color palette I went with a dark blue because I wanted people to get a sense of calmness when looking at the design. I then decided to go with a yellow-orange. This would symbolize the warm and welcoming aspect of the company.
When designing a logo I decided to go with something abstract and simple. I think the visual look of the logo it would give off a professional appearance compared with local competition. When choosing a slogan I picked the qualities which were most important to your business.
For the typefaces in the logo, I went with Gidole and Shree Devanagari 714. I feel like these fonts work well together giving the logo a simple yet elegant look. My goal was to be sure that the visual identity of your business looked professional and elegant. I also wanted to be sure that the look of your business was simple and attractive for people who decide to choose you for tax preparation.
TEMPerance rising tarot
The goal for this project was to create a visual identity for a client’s tarot reading business. I knew that the development of this project would be challenging since there are already certain perceptions about tarot. I also had to find a way to make a visually appealing design for those who already had negative perceptions. In interviewing my client, he stated that he wants his customers to feel welcomed and understood. We were able to develop his mission statement “find your future in the cards”.

The main deliverables are a logo, business card. To create an extension of the business and visual identity, a website was also designed. Before I started to design, it was essential to gather information on my target audience. In interviewing my client, he stated that he wanted his business to be targeted towards people who are familiar and unfamiliar with tarot. Ranging from an audience of 18 and up.
