Villalvazo Clerical Services is a business that offers taxes to everyone. Since doing taxes can often be a stressful time for people, I tried to incorporate certain things within the visual design which would be appealing to the common crowd. In choosing a color palette I went with a dark blue because I wanted people to get a sense of calmness when looking at the design. I then decided to go with a yellow-orange. This would symbolize the warm and welcoming aspect of the company.
When designing a logo I decided to go with something abstract and simple. I think the visual look of the logo it would give off a professional appearance compared with local competition. When choosing a slogan I picked the qualities which were most important to your business.
For the typefaces in the logo, I went with Gidole and Shree Devanagari 714. I feel like these fonts work well together giving the logo a simple yet elegant look. My goal was to be sure that the visual identity of your business looked professional and elegant. I also wanted to be sure that the look of your business was simple and attractive for people who decide to choose you for tax preparation.

This dust jacket was designed using a variety of techniques including the use of woodblock type. The whole idea was to create a symbol that would represent or suggest the subject of the book. When creating this dust jacket it was important to keep in mind the grouping and the hierarchy of the information that was going to be put on the dust jacket. This is why the title is treated as the largest element on the page.
