VILLALVAZO CLERICAL SERVICES
Villalvazo Clerical Services is a business that offers taxes to everyone. Since doing taxes can often be a stressful time for people, I tried to incorporate certain things within the visual design which would be appealing to the common crowd. In choosing a color palette I went with a dark blue because I wanted people to get a sense of calmness when looking at the design. I then decided to go with a yellow-orange. This would symbolize the warm and welcoming aspect of the company.
When designing a logo I decided to go with something abstract and simple. I think the visual look of the logo it would give off a professional appearance compared with local competition. When choosing a slogan I picked the qualities which were most important to your business.
For the typefaces in the logo, I went with Gidole and Shree Devanagari 714. I feel like these fonts work well together giving the logo a simple yet elegant look. My goal was to be sure that the visual identity of your business looked professional and elegant. I also wanted to be sure that the look of your business was simple and attractive for people who decide to choose you for tax preparation.
OLAKINO KOMBUCHA
Olakino Kombucha is a brand that was designed to promote healthiness. The idea was to give people a feeling of relaxation; almost as if they were on vacation. When looking at this brand the goal was also to make the customer feel happy and healthy. The naming of the brand comes from the translation Olakino. In Hawaiian,
it means “healthy” which is why this name was chosen for the brand.
For the demographics of this product, the audience ranges from ages 25 to 34. Knowing the audience, this drink is mostly consumed around midday to help with digestion. The design should inform us that we can be healthy while consuming a product that can prevent certain illnesses like cancer and indigestion.
Based on the design that I have set, I wanted to inform the audience that this brand is the best. This is why there is a variety of tropical flavors (Pineapple, Mango, and Papaya). To create a consistent look with the deliverables I kept the layout identical but chose specific colors according to the flavor. My deliverables are bottle labels, carrier packaging, and magazine ads.
