VILLALVAZO CLERICAL SERVICES
Villalvazo Clerical Services is a business that offers taxes to everyone. Since doing taxes can often be a stressful time for people, I tried to incorporate certain things within the visual design which would be appealing to the common crowd. In choosing a color palette I went with a dark blue because I wanted people to get a sense of calmness when looking at the design. I then decided to go with a yellow-orange. This would symbolize the warm and welcoming aspect of the company.
When designing a logo I decided to go with something abstract and simple. I think the visual look of the logo it would give off a professional appearance compared with local competition. When choosing a slogan I picked the qualities which were most important to your business.
For the typefaces in the logo, I went with Gidole and Shree Devanagari 714. I feel like these fonts work well together giving the logo a simple yet elegant look. My goal was to be sure that the visual identity of your business looked professional and elegant. I also wanted to be sure that the look of your business was simple and attractive for people who decide to choose you for tax preparation.
PREVENT THE SPREAD
This is a campaign that deals with the prevention of COVID. The target audience is teens who are between the ages of 12–17, who like to use social media and live in San Joaquin County. The reasoning behind the creation of this campaign was to bring awareness to teens because their cases are going up. The idea is to create an incentive for them to protect the community. This includes wearing a mask, being socially distant, and watching out for the symptoms.
Most importantly the goal would be for teens to be lead to a health website where they could get more essential information. My deliverables are posters, stickers, and Instagram posts. From prior research, I felt that these would be the best to reach my target audience. This was all research-based design. This means that every design decision is determined by my target audience. You will see with the posters on the next page that I have included three different scenarios. The illustration style is meant to attract the intended audience also. The colors are very vibrant so that they will attract attention. QR codes are included on there. This would lead you to the SJCPHS website.
